Say fare well to the summer and celebrate the Celtic New Year (Monday 31 October 2016, Grassmarket, Old Town). The annual Samhuinn Fire Festival is in a league of its own. Produced by the Beltane Fire Society, this unique and fiery event is a spectacle not to be missed. Marvel at performers bringing myth and legend of Winter Kings to life through performances in elaborate costumes, music and dance, casting gold light and shadowy figures from their flames against the historic buildings Old Town creating a unique atmosphere. Free outdoor event but do bring a donation and check time table!
