Neighbourhood

The flat is in the very city centre of Edinburgh, a year-round destination that has so much to offer. It is nestled in just under the iconic Edinburgh Castle. The Castle, National Museum and National Galleries are within walking distance, as are various music venues and shopping. Should you like to enjoy Holyrood Palace, Holyrood Park or the Crags and Arthur's Seat, then this is a simple 20-minute walk. This property is also ideally located to explore the wonders of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The flat benefits from being next to the Grassmarket down the road, where many bars and restaurants are. From there, Victoria Street, a lovely shopping street with independent boutiques takes you to the Royal Mile. Please take a look at my guidebook for recommended places to eat and drink in the area! There are quite a few venues nearby including the Usher Hall, the Lyceum, and the Traverse that are hosting shows during the festival. It's centrally located with all the city's amenities a short walk away. From nearby Lothian road, you can catch buses to other parts of the city areas such as Leith. I love the neighbourhood, the castle is everywhere you look as we are so close to it. It's a vibrant area with a variety of shops and bars and a great buzz. The supermarket is very close just 4 minutes up the road. The nearby cafe - "Lovecrumbs" is a trendy and very popular cafe with an ever-changing daily selection of quirky and tasty homemade cakes, including vegan options, featuring unusual ingredients like Rosemary and Lavender! Yum! The mix of shops includes vintage clothes and furniture, second-hand books, gifts, and Scottish designer clothes. My favourite restaurant and cocktail bar is the "Timberyard", expensive but worth it, with its adventurous modern take on Scottish food and cocktails. There is also a farmers market in Castle Terrace every Saturday.

This is a homely flat in a truly fantastic location right in the heart of the historic Old Town. Very close to a range of cafes, bars and restaurants. The Airlink 300 bus stops just minutes from the flat. The flat itself is very cosy, with a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed that can be used to sleep an additional 2 guests in the living room. Space

My flat is on the 2nd floor (38 steps) of a traditional Edinburgh tenement building, located on one of the main streets leading to Grassmarket Square; a lively and charming Old Town hub. It is accessible via a hidden private garden and bridge that offers respite from the buzz of the city. The flat itself is very cosy and decorated to make you feel at home. Bedroom: The bedroom is very quiet as it faces the garden entrance within the building. My cleaner will make the beds using hotel-quality linen and towels will also be provided. There is a writing table, perfect for working travellers, and plenty of bedroom storage in one of the built-in wardrobes and the bedside drawers. Living Area & Kitchen: The living room is an open space connected to the kitchen. The kitchen itself is well equipped with the usual small appliances and cooking utensils, should you wish to cook during your stay. The living area has a comfortable sofa, which can double up as a sofa bed at your request. There is also a TV in here with Virgin Cable so you can relax after a long day exploring the incredible city of Edinburgh. Bathroom: The bathroom has a bath and overhead shower. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel will be provided, giving you one less thing to pack! Guests will have access to the entire property. Please note check-in runs from 4 pm to 10 pm. Entry after this time will not be entertained. Check-out is at 10 am. If arriving before 4 pm, please ask about our discount code for Stasher. com. Alternatively, you can store bags at Waverley or the bus station. We are unable to allow bag drops at the moment. Sorry. While we try to remain flexible when less busy, please be prepared to abide by these times for your stay. Sofa Bed Use If your booking is for 3 or more, the sofa bed charge will be applied by Airbnb. If your travelling group is 2 and you wish to use the sofa bed, a £10 per night charge will be applied after booking. This is to cover the extra linen and laundry and cleaning times charged by the cleaning company - please confirm at the time of booking if you are a group of 2 needing the sofa bed.

If you register a credit card to the app, there will be no need to search for spare change and you can easily add on time remotely.WORK HOURS -communicationEvergreen Property has staff managing the Airbnb App from 8 am to 10 pm 7 days a week. Please do not expect an answer outside of these hours. After 5pm, we would ask all guests to message initially via the App, not phone or text as the app is monitored by evening staff and the phone number is for emergencies only. Please also note before booking, that Check in runs from 4 pm to 10 pm. We generally do not allow check-ins after 10pm so if you think you may arrive after 10pm, please message us before booking.
